While waiting to go up the cave.. this kavadi bearer is spending a moment to himself. He is in his normal state of consciousness without the trance. I spoke to him after the shot if he is allright, he smiled and hand gestured OK!

Thanks Manuela... I like to shoot the colors as accurately as possible... I rarely use RAW format though.. and most of the time my 17-85 mm IS is very dependable...
(btw.. this pic is shot by my wife using my camera.. so the credit goes to her! :) )

Wow. I have never seen a Kavadi when I was there in Tamil Nadu. Nice to see this from Malaysia.
