Self Sacrifice...Posted by Shiva (Kajang, Malaysia) on 9 February 2007 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio. Believe it or not.. this man rolled over the hot road (yes it was real hot day....) from more than 1/2 km from the main road... I dont think i can do such acts of devotion..... Hi guys!, After contemplating for so long, I have finally decided to put out my images for sale in my own photo sales site. Please visit http://www.e-ttl.com to view the site and if you see anything you like, let me know. This is a " Truly Malaysian" site that sells images from Malaysia. So, I officially pronounce my site open for sales!! Thousands of thanks to aminus3 members and web owners to be a good friend and a true compatriot in photography to all budding photographers to be able to display their works in a blog format for free. I truly salute the aminus3 team for being very kind and humane to all of us. I wish you all the greatest of success. Thank you. Shiva

Srik from Bengalooru, IndiaFaith and DHRITI(determination) can achieve anything. No one can categorise it as bad, it all flays at the individual levels. 9 Feb 2007 6:18am @Srik: Sri, I am particularly impressed with people who roll on the ground.. their bodies must hurt like hell afterwards.. Manuela Photography from Hainburg (near Frankfurt/Main), GermanyUnusual moment you caught here! 9 Feb 2007 11:54am @Manuela Photography: its amazing.. wait till you see some more pictures i will put up later... Very inhuman abilities Still from Valence, FranceWow! Impressive information. Thanks for sharing this subject! 9 Feb 2007 12:41pm jennifer radio from United StatesI wish I could show acts of devotion like that, also... I admire that man. 9 Feb 2007 1:35pm @jennifer radio: Sometimes acts of devotions like this carry a deep meaning within the person who goes through the whole thing. Like the Ashura in Iran.. Thaipusam bears the same meanings too! Darren from JapanMan that is dedication. 9 Feb 2007 2:39pm @Darren: I agree with you. Again, the ground was boiling hot and the heat was unbearable.. Prem from Mumbai, IndiaA Personal opinion. This is getting little too much Shiva. 9 Feb 2007 10:25pm @Prem: life goes on... you havent seen how much drastic these devotees can take the kavadi limits too... like what you meant.. I think it is a bit too much too sometimes.... Over drastic.. |
