Batu Caves is basically a limestone cave, a few million years old. The evidence of it being under water is still there, many reserachers has found primitive trilobite fossils up in the cave roof. Somehow, it is now a major temple for Indian Hindus in Malaysia and foreign visitors.

@kaveh: thank you dude... Actually I made a mistake in resizing the image, i didnt realize i was down sizing it in inch per pixel instead of my normal document size centimetres... In its actual size.. the picture does look pretty happening..
