I didnt wait long enough to watch the wicks finish burning.But certainly I snapped it in its full glory for the adoration of the temple visitors.

Well, weird enough to comment and to ask, too. When do you use this? Or is it simply to perfume a room? I don't know if it's a silly question, but i really do not know and i just wonder, Shiva...

@Evi: It is chinese temple prayer wicks. It doesnt smell as good as the indian incense sticks, smells more like smoke really, but this is hung in every chinese temples around the world. Smokes according to hindu and buddhist customs acts as a purifying agent very much like water! And your question is not a silly question. It is an intelligint inquisitive query on which I must educate you about the chinese culture! Feel free to ask anything Evi!. ;)
