It's Thaipusam Time again!!

Posted by Shiva (Kajang, Malaysia) on 24 January 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

My goodness, it has been such a long time since i posted anything. I beg forgiveness from all my friends here for keeping out of touch!!

Anyway, Just like how I started my blog last year with the Thaipusam theme, today, I am back again posting the same event for this year. And as it was still as intense, there are a few moments that i would share with yall through my eyes and the lens!

Thaipusam is in honor of the mighty Lord Muruga, the son of the interstellar dancer and destroyer, Lord Shiva. Lord Muruga also created the Tamil language.

So , just sit back and relax.

This first picture is of Hanuman, the mighty warrior monkey God. as I got down from the train, this was the first thing that made me take out my 350D and shoot.

Hi guys!, After contemplating for so long, I have finally decided to put out my images for sale in my own photo sales site. Please visit http://www.e-ttl.com to view the site and if you see anything you like, let me know. This is a " Truly Malaysian" site that sells images from Malaysia.

So, I officially pronounce my site open for sales!! Thousands of thanks to aminus3 members and web owners to be a good friend and a true compatriot in photography to all budding photographers to be able to display their works in a blog format for free. I truly salute the aminus3 team for being very kind and humane to all of us. I wish you all the greatest of success.

Thank you.

@somitra: it is exactly the same as the one in India. No difference at all. Everything is as per India spec, from worship to devotional hymn. :)
